Rosie’s career started rather abruptly when she was only a 15-year old student, and she started working at a London West End-based modeling agency. The very next year she signed a modeling session for none other than Levi’s jeans commercial.
Soon after, she had a first major breakthrough when she traveled to New York to do some Teen Vogue photoshoots. She would also join forces with Naomi Campbell and had her catwalk debut. And in early 2006, she was signed to Victoria’s Secret.
Fast forward to today, she is the second most paid UK model, right after Cara, raking in close to $8 million yearly.
Kate Moss
Rightfully named “The queen of the catwalk”, Kate has been at the top of the highest-paid modeling charts for the longest time. She only lost this title recently, when she decided to dump her long-term modeling agency and go solo.
Something worth noting, when talking about Kat Moss’s career, is the year 2005 when she was charged with drug abuse and an overly party lifestyle. These allegations even led to her being dropped out of many fashion campaigns.
Luckily for her, all these charges were dropped and she’s made such a comeback that in 2012 she came in second on the Forbes top-earning models list.
David Gandy
Finally, it’s time to present you with a man on this list… incidentally, David is the only man in the top 10 most-paid models list, but rightfully so.
He is currently netting close to $5 million thanks to his many lucrative deals with top brands such as Marks & Spencer’s and Dolce & Gabbana.
Hit road to stardom was as surprising as it gets as he was the winner of a televised model searching reality TV show. Winning this show opened many doors for him and this is when his career blew up.
Another thing that set him apart from the rest is his muscular physique. In the world of skinny male models, he stood up and caught people’s eyes.
Naomi Campbell
Of course, no list would be complete without Naomi. Even though she is 47 years old, she is still one of the biggest names in the industry! Not only that, she is currently pulling in $3.5 million each year.
